We currently offer emergency water mitigation services for homes and businesses experiencing water intrusion into the property. Ultimately, we conduct thorough inspections and provide high-quality roof tarps to safely secure the roof, preventing any further damage.

Our process includes:

1) Finding the source of water intrusion and preventing further damages. Upon sourcing the leak, we typically seal or cover the area until further repairs can be performed. Often this will include installing 10-mil tarps over exposed areas after applying adhesive membranes over holes. 

2) Once the leak has been addressed, we then will focus on water extraction. This process often involves removal of wet drywall, sheetrock, attic insulation, and more. We carefully remove any materials that have been compromised by contact or absorption of water.

3) Drying and dehumidifying the affected areas. This may involve running multiple air movers and/or dehumidifier units for an extended period until moisture levels inside reach acceptable levels. 

4) Cleaning and sanitizing affected areas to prevent bacterial and/or mold growth.

5) Covering any exposed areas inside with plastic sheeting until further repairs can be performed by licensed contractors.

Absolutely! We perform work on a retail basis as well as working with most major insurance companies. In the event that you have a loss to your property involving water intrusion, we can document the damages and help prevent further water intrusion. We'll also provide expert advice to help you get reports and invoices submitted to your insurance company. *Please note that Aquaguard Mitigation is a contractor, and therefore only submits information and invoices for services rendered. We can discuss the damages and billing but we legally can not discuss policy per Florida law.
